Velhas Virgensis a Brazilian rock band, one of the biggest in the Brazilian underground scene. They are mostly known for their irreverent, sagacious lyrics, often dealing with sexual and political themes. The band was formed in 84 by Paulão de Carvalho(vocals) later in 86 Alexandre Cavalo Dias (guitar) join the band, they released the first album in 1995 (Foi Bom pra Você?)
